Troubleshooting Goals Upload Issues in Vymo

When uploading goals files in Vymo, you may encounter several common issues. Below are explanations and solutions for these problems:

1. Verify Date Entry in Goals Upload File

  • Issue: The start date and the end date in the upload file must align with the frequency type of the goal. For example, if it's a monthly goal, the date range should cover exactly one month.
  • Solution: Ensure that the start and end dates match the specified goal frequency to avoid upload failures.

2. Incorrect Goal Frequency

  • Issue: Setting an incorrect goal frequency can lead to file upload failures.
  • Solution: Note that recurring frequency is only supported in target files. Achievement files do not support recurring goals, so adjust the frequency settings accordingly.

3. Configured Goals Not Visible on the App

  • Issue: If configured goals for the current month are not visible in the app, they may not have been uploaded.
  • Solution: Verify that the goals for the current month have been successfully uploaded. If they haven't been uploaded, they will not be visible in the app.

4. Difficulties Accessing the Goals Page

  • Issue: Problems accessing the goals page can occur if you lack the necessary permissions.
  • Checklist:
  • Ensure you have the permission to upload goals.
  • Confirm your access to the Data Distribution Platform (DDP).
  • Verify that you have permissions for uploading DDP status, downloading DDP status, and viewing DDP job details in the dashboard configurations.

By addressing these common pitfalls, you can streamline the process of setting and managing goals in Vymo and ensure that the goals functionality is fully utilized to enhance sales performance.
