Changing the date and time settings

Feedback

Vymo supports flexible date and time formatting options to align with user preferences and company standards, ensuring consistency across the application.

  • Locale-Based Formatting: Vymo allows dates and times to be displayed according to the locale configured for your company. This ensures that formatting aligns with regional preferences.

  • Absolute and Relative Values:

  • Absolute Formats: Display specific dates and times, such as Dec 31, 2020.

  • Relative Formats: Show time in terms relative to the current date, like Yesterday or 2 mins ago.

  • Consistent Time Zone: All date and time data are displayed based on a single time zone, set at the global level for your company.

Configuration Details

  • Global Settings: Date and time formats are configurable at the global level and apply uniformly across all platforms (mobile and web), enhancing consistency throughout the app.

  • Exceptions:

  • Notifications and Standard Reports: These areas do not adhere to the globally configured date and time settings, using default formats instead.

  • Customization:

  • If defaults need to be overridden, adjustments can be made through the app's self-serve options.

For the formats and display rules, see Date-time formats, codes, display rules.
