Creating Goal Filters

Introduction:

Goal filters enhance the usability of the goals card by allowing users to sort and view goals based on specific criteria, aiding in better management and tracking of performance metrics.

Filters and Their Use:

  • Team/Self: Differentiate between personal and team goals.
  • Date: Select from preset options or specific dates to review goals.
  • Frequency: Choose the periodicity of the goals.
  • Progress: Assess the current status of goals.
  • Goal Name: Search and sort by the goal's title.

Important Note:

The date filter needs to be manually enabled as it is not active by default.

Utilizing the Date Filter:

The date filter on the mobile app is instrumental for managers and users alike to retrospectively assess goal achievements.

Enabling Date Filters:

  1. Access the Web App: Log into the Vymo web app.
  2. Navigate to Configuration: Go to self-serve > Global Settings > JSON Configuration > goalsConfig.
  3. Activate the Date Filter: Expand goalsConfig and change the enableDatefilter value to true.
  4. Draft Save: Click 'Save' to draft the changes.
  5. Release Management: Proceed to 'Release Management' to finalize the updates.
  6. UAT Release Creation: Create a UAT release, entering the required details and your email for OTP reception.
  7. OTP Verification: Input the OTP from your email and await the confirmation message.
  8. Re-login: Log out and then log back in to see the changes take effect. goals self serve

Using Date Filters in the Mobile App:

  1. Mobile App Login: Sign in to the Vymo mobile app.
  2. Goals Overview: Tap 'View all' on the Goals card.
  3. Filter Selection: Click the filter icon, situated top right, adjacent to the search icon.
  4. Date Selection: Pick a suitable date filter from the presented options.
  5. Apply Filter: Confirm your choice by tapping 'submit'. goals self serve

Results:

Post-implementation, users should be able to seamlessly filter and review past goal achievements, thereby streamlining the process of performance tracking.
