Creating, editing, and logging activities

Activities are the things you do with leads, partners, or your own team, for example, join a daily team meeting or call a lead. Activities could be created by your company and assigned to you. You, too, can create activities for yourself. When an activity is complete, it's logged automatically unless the activity needs explicit inputs from you before it can be logged.

Creating an activity

  1. Log in to the Vymo app.
  2. Tap the large Plus button near the bottom right of the screen. Tap Schedule Activity.
  3. Select the module by tapping one of the options. The Select Activity field is populated automatically.
  4. Select an activity by tapping one of the options. Depending on your selection, more fields are displayed.
  5. Use the on-screen prompts to enter the required information, and tap Submit.

The activity is added to your calendar, and is also displayed on the Activities card.

Logging an activity with leads or partners

  1. Log in to the Vymo app.
  2. Open the leads or partners Details screen.
  3. Tap the large Plus button near the bottom right of the screen. Tap Log Activity.
  4. Select an activity, enter the required information, and tap Add.

The activity is logged. Depending on how activities are configured for your company, the record might also move from one state to another, for example, from a New state to a Converted state.

Logging or scheduling activities through the calendar

  1. Log in to the Vymo app.
  2. On the Hello screen, tap the Today's Calendar card.
  3. Locate the day for which the activity is to be scheduled or logged. Use the arrows to swipe the calendar week to the right or left. The activities for the highlighted day are displayed.
    • To log an activity, tap it, and then tap on the large Plus button at the bottom of the screen. Then, tap Log Activity, enter the required information, and tap Update.
    • To schedule an activity, tap on the large Plus button at the bottom of the screen. Then, tap Schedule Activity, enter the required information, and tap Add.

Adding participants to activities

You can add participants to activities when the activity is created, and during the time that the activity is open. You can't add participants after an activity is closed.

While creating the activity

  1. Log in to the Vymo app.
  2. Tap the large Plus button near the bottom right of the screen. Tap Schedule Activity.
  3. Select the module by tapping one of the options. The Select Activity field is populated automatically.
  4. Select an activity by tapping one of the options. Depending on your selection, more options might be displayed.
  5. Use the on-screen prompts to add the participants. You can add more than one participant.
  6. When done, tap Submit.

Before closing the activity

Before you edit an activity, make sure that this feature is configured for your company (see Enabling activity edits).

Only an assignee (and their manager) can update an activity to add participants to it. To do so:

  1. Log in to the Vymo app.
  2. Go to the activity details screen, locate the activity to edit, and tap it.
  3. Tap the edit icon :material-lead-pencil:, and use the on-screen prompts to add participants to the activity.
  4. Tap Update.
